Inside the workshop (see left), the STM32 controllers live safely in the original Stevenson box, acting as our temporary command hub until we build their dedicated enclosure.
Outside (right), an IP65-rated box houses the STM32 unit, streaming live sensor readings back over a serial link from the weather station above.
Cables run downwards to power and read out ground and subterranean thermometers, while up top a homemade glass shield protects the UV detector and Lux meter then we have the wind-direction vane, anemometer and rain sensor.
